Opon reaching Whitley Bay metro station, depending on from which direction you have travelled you may need to cross the bridge to the side with the shop (platform 2).

Once on this side exit the station via the archway and walk straight down Station Road to the seafront (The Esplanade Hotel is the large white building on the left).

Turn left round the corner and you will see the entrance.
