Here are links to the two companys that operate out of the Internation Ferry landing, Fjordline, DFDS Seaways.

Leaving the ferry terminal you will need to head for the A187. Once you get to this road turn left and head for the A19. Head North on the A19 till you reach the roundabout, here you will need to turn right and take the A1058 to Tynemouth.

Follow this road right down to the seafront roundabout (the Park Hotel should be on your left).

At this roundabout turn left, follow the coast for about 2 miles and you will see the Esplanade Hotel on the left hand side, just past the tennis courts.
